This 2010 report is the second in a series of Pathways reports written by the Council on Foundations as part of its efforts to establish diversity and inclusive practices as part of the structure of philanthropy. This report features highlights from a convening of more than 50 foundation leaders held in October 2009 which explored research findings on factors related to hiring and preparing successful future philanthropic leaders.
